我每天都過着忙碌的生活，審批文件、監察運作、資料搜集、自己編輯部開會、跟飲食雜誌內部的不同部門開會、跟出版集團旗下不同雜誌的代表開會…有時忙得生活是為了甚麼也忘了。
這已成為我的習慣，為着要擺脱過去、過更好的生活，我一刻也停不下來。雖然自己心知稍停一下喘息一會，也不會失去現已擁有的一切，但內心的恐懼卻推動我不斷前進。
相比其他於孤兒院認識的朋友，我的際遇不算差。幸運之神還是有眷顧我，我遇上適合我的工作，賞識我的上司，讓我可於工作上全力打拼，沿途一路走來所經歷的侮辱與挫折，就當作磨煉吧。
對於心無旁騖的我，連女人最渴求的愛情也變成奢侈品。談情說愛是浪費時間的行為，我每天武裝自己披荊斬棘的，並不是為了成就一個可歌可泣的愛情故事。直到再得知你的消息…

我造就了跟你重遇的機會，也因工作關係而有不少交流。每次我都很期待跟你見面，會悉心打扮，這全是基於對我合作夥伴的尊重。對工作夥伴們每次在我跟你會面後的流言蜚語，敬業的我只會一笑置之。

那天你終於認出我來，我心中悸動不已。從那天開始，我發覺對你的思念像從塵封的記憶深處中釋放出來的猛獸一樣，漸漸破壞我堅強的武裝外殼，把我的心靈吞噬殆盡…

縱使每天繼續告訴自己一切如常，從來堅毅的我受不了煎敖，不自覺地沉溺於你的笑容。雖然你甚少接受訪問，身為雜誌副編的我還是有渠道取得你早前為雜誌訪問拍的數張硬照，伴我渡過無盡思念煎敖的晚上。温柔隨和的你，不會怪我吧！

終於到約定的那一夜，我已忍耐太久了，為了可繼續前進，我告訴自己無論如何也要作個了斷。其實你對她的心意，我很早就察覺到，但也意識到你們還沒有開始，所以我也要放手一搏。
那一夜，你的臉，你的笑容，你的目光，你的氣息，我朝思暮想的吻，我幻想無數次的一刻…
